The blue rose signifies mystery or the possibility of attaining that which seems impossible, mostly because it’s a rarity in nature. This mystery of the blue rose makes it perfect for those with a complex personality. Blue roses, often portrayed in literature and art as a symbol of love and prosperity to those who seek it, do not exist in nature as a result of genetic limitations being imposed upon natural variance.
Well, well, well. I’ve loved blue roses since I wore it as print in the 1980s and still festoon a blue rose trinket in my hair, on my fingers or somewhere on my body almost every day. I become giddy when others are gussied up in blue roses. I suppose blue rose gals are always on a quest. We chase, cause mystery and happily trip into rabbit holes. One day I’ll find a patch of blue roses and never ever leave. I’ll sit in that patch, drink strawberry wine and sniff those blue roses til I’m high. Until that magnificent day, I’ll have to settle with blue rose jujus and fashions.
