Fashion in Leaves is ongoing personal project by Malaysian illustrator and artist Tang Chiew Ling that explores various forms of leaves and flowers as if they were fashion sketches. Ling previously merged flora with illustration in another series of images called Object Art, and if you liked this, also checkout Drawing with Leaves. (via The Jackass Gardener)
Bett Norris, ‘Virginia’, 2011, mixed media, 297mm X 210mm. Bett is one of Rebena’s favorite illustrators lately – check out this Bristol beeotch talent here. She is available for commission. Virginia feels very much like our dear Rebena.
Fashion illustration is an art form. Undeniably. In an increasingly digitized world, it is a visual treat. And we can’t get enough of it. This whimsical design was originally created for Jeanne Lanvin’s beloved daughter but proved to be so popular with her clients that the designer opened her very own children’s department in 1908. Never mind the kids, we’d be more than happy to wear this item ourselves.
